Catching Up After a Busy Weekend

So, you found out last time that I'm almost finished packing (yay!). But that's not all that happened over the weekend...

Lets start with Thursday night. I was up almost all night with a severe toothache. I usually don't take medicine (due to 2 things; I don't like the idea of becoming dependent on a pill, and well, I simply don't take pills very well unless they are small...) but that night led me downstairs and scouring the medicine cabinet for anything that would take some pain away. My dad ended up giving me one of his prescription pills since we apparently had nothing at all for me to take. That held me over for a tiny bit.

On Friday morning I went to Payton's house, still in pain, and hoping that I would get off in time to make it to a dentist. Of course, as life usually decides to be complicated at the worst times, I didn't make it to any dentist. I instead ended up in the medicine isle of Walgreens searching for Ibuprofen. I spent the the next day and a half stuck to this bottle, praying that the intense pain would not return.

On Friday night my dad and I went on a daddy-daughter dinner to Olive Garden. It was nice getting to see him, we work opposite schedules right now so I'm usually falling asleep when he gets home.

Saturday morning I work up and started my packing. Javi came over after he woke up (cough cough after I woke him up cough cough) and I made up omelettes, then he left and I resumed my packing.

While cleaning/packing, I found a journal I kept from freshman year of high school. Javi was a big part of my life then so I started searching it for his name. I didn't have to search long, 10 pages into the book I had already found entries about him on 6 different occasions. I started reading it on my own but then called Javi so I could read him what I had found. I had never shown him journal so it was all new to him, and semi new to me seeing as I had forgotten what I wrote about so long ago.

I was thrilled to find out that I wrote something about the day he tripped me on our way to English class. Apparently I had it coming since I kept pulling his earphones out of his ear...butttt I'm going to say I still didn't deserve to be tripped :p sorry Javi!

We both got a gigantic laugh over one entry where I came off super desperate and "prayed" that him and his first GF would break up (and that my BF at the time would break up with me) so that we could be together. Yup. I'm a crazy person. There's proof. (mind you, I was 14 or 15 at the time so its kinda expected to be crazy around that time...)

On the flip side...There's hard evidence that I was way into this guy since I first met him! *wink*

Saturday night Javi and I went out to the movies and saw Wreck-it-Ralph...Oh my Lord, if you haven't seen it yet, GO NOW. It's ah-mazing. We laughed for almost the entire movie. It was so well thought out! We are planning on going to see it again...Apparently seeing movies multiple times in the theaters is being a tradition. We saw the Dark Knight Rises 2 times (mostly for Javi, but also cause I fell asleep in the midnight showing......*cricket noises*....yes I'm ashamed), then we saw Perks of Being a Wallflower 2 times, and now Wreck-it-Ralph. It's worth it though! Seriously, it's adorable! I will admit the little girl in the movie starts out a bit annoying, but she quickly turns into an awesome character.

Sunday morning we woke up early and took Javi's dad to work so that we could get some boxes for packing. His dad ever-so-smartly maneuvered getting me a hot chocolate from Starbucks before I could object, he knows I wouldn't have let him get me anything if he would have asked. Then we came back and Javi made us breakfast. I was really wanting a Breakfast on a Bun from Whataburger, but too worried that if I asked for one without meat on it, they would give me one that was premade that they just removed the meat from. It wasn't worth the risk so Javi attempted to make me one from home, and he did a GREAT job satisfying that crave :)

Sunday evening consisted of more packing and pizza. I also checked on my online order from Forever 21, It's been over a week and a half and still no box has came for me. The order still says "shipping" but if it hasn't came in a few days I'm going to call and figure out whats going on.

And that leads me to today. Monday. I'm babysitting at the moment. I'm going to be getting off a little early so that I can make it to my dentist appointment (finally got that scheduled!).

I'll let you know how that appointment goes!

Until next time,

"I sat in that waiting room
It seemed like all afternoon,
The nurse finally said 'Doc's ready for you.
You're not gonna feel a thing, we'll give you some novicane,
That tooth will be fine in a minute or two'.
but he stuck that needle down deep in my gum
And he started drillin before I was numb"
- Blake Shelton "Some Beach"

No lie, 'm kinda terrified that's going to happen to me! Please excuse me while I go...
     *Pray
*Cross my fingers and do everything in multiples of 7
*Search my face in a mirror for a stay eyelash
*Throw a coin in a wishing well
*Hold a cricket in one hand and a (plastic vegetarian friendly) rabbits foot in the other
*Nail a horseshoe to a wall
*Wait outside for a falling star
Let me know if you find any 4 leaf clovers or heads-up- pennies laying around!
