So I'm currently sitting in my car in the Target parking lot. I'm waiting for Alyssa to finish her eye appointment then we are going back to our garage sale spree, yet again.
There hasn't been anything good this time around unfortunately. It's very disappointing.
Figured while I was waiting I might as well update super quick!
Yesterday was a slightly depressing day for me. I finally pushed myself to get my butt back to the gym and while it felt good to be back, my times/accomplishments are trashed. I pretty much am starting from scratch all over again *shakes head*. I can't believe I let myself get so far and still throw it all away. I'm so disappointed in myself!
But at least I'm on the right track again. I'm hoping that with a slightly free summer I can rush my training (hah... Like that's even smart to do...) and maybe get somewhat good again. I won't be able to finish my race doing as well as I want, but I still intend on doing the competitive run so oh well. Maybe next year?
We will see. For now, I'm simply taking it day by day and run by run (and step by step!)
