I've recently figured out a new love of mine. It's kinda random, and I don't think I ever would have guessed this a few years ago. So what is it?
Clouds. And if it's a rainbow with two clouds at the bottom... Even better.
I figured this out when I found a scrapbook paper with rainbows and clouds. I absolutely fell in love. I told my sister it was my favorite scrapbook paper design I've ever seen... And she looked at me like I just said brown was my new favorite color. Literally.
The next clue was when I was looking at St. Patricks day clearance at Hobby Lobby and found this little pack of foam cut outs. It had 4 designs in it, but I was only interested in one. The rainbow with clouds. Absolutely adorable. Each set only had 3 of them...So of course I bought 3 packages...moving on.
After that I found some cloud scrapbook paper on clearance for that 7/$1 deal I talked about last time. Just plain and simple, baby blue paper with white clouds. I fell in love and bought every sheet they had (it was only 5 sheets!)
The actual moment of realization was when when Javi was driving one day. I was in the passenger seat and looking out at the sky. It was beautiful. More specifically, the clouds where beautiful. Not the ones that looked like someone drove over them, but the poofy, soft looking ones. The ones that look like a mixture of marshmallows and pillows. I was so content just sitting there watching them slowly float across the sky.
I can just imagine the way I looked. Probably exactly like a dreamer. Makes sense since I've always considered myself a dreamer :p
