We are only about a day and a half away from 2013. Like i keep saying, time flies.
This year was a great one for me. I enjoyed spending almost every day with Javi, my new job babysitting, my first charity walk in Houston, going to DisneyWorld, going on my first cruise, leaving the country for the first time, moving into my apartment with javi, etc.
While I will miss this year,I'm so looking forward to 2013. My sister will be back in town, im planning to run a few 5k races (and give it my absolute all in the Komen 5k), im hoping to be out of debt by exactly this time next year, andddd I'm hoping Javi and I will be engaged by this time next year :p So yeah. Here is an early good bye to 2012 and a hello to 2013!
And for an update since last time:
I almost completed my 25 days of giving, i only failed on Christmas day. Ironic huh? It's too hard to explain, but in short my goal was to give a bag of useful goodies and a favorite blanket of mine to a homeless person. Javi and I drove way out of our way to find someone, but there was no one. I still have everything and im intending on keeping it all in my car till I find someone who needs it.
I've also dropped my mile time from 14.35 to 11.30 exactly. Pretty good improvement for only 5 runs :) While that time still sucks, im improving nonetheless and I won't be hard on myself as long as that's the case.
This week I'm going to start expanding my workout times. Instead of just stopping after I hit a mile, im going to either do double runs in a day (like I will today - One run this morning, one this evening) or do longer runs once a day. We will see how it goes!
