Tomorrow is the first day of March... Can someone please explain to me...
WHEN THE HECK DID THIS HAPPEN??
Why is time speeding by so fast? It still feels like it's January and yet Valentines Day is behind us, Easter stuff is taking over stores, and I only have one more week of work before my week off for spring break... This is all just crazy.
Ok, ill shut up about that now (seriously though... March already?)
Well, it's been emotional over at our apartment lately. Something bad happened and it's got Javi and I both on our toes now. I'm not going into detail, but please everyone be aware of your surroundings. Take notice of what, and who, is around you. During the day, at night, weekend or weekday. It's all the same. Keep your eyes open, your distractions minimal, and yourself safe.
On a lighter note, I thought I was done with my vday clearance addiction. But let me tell you. I was so wrong. I walked into hobby lobby (a bad thing in itself) and found out that vday clearance got marked to 90 percent off!!! So OF COURSE... I grabbed an arm full (quite possibly two) of items, stopped by another hobby lobby to get more... Then returned to that first hobby lobby to check out the selection without being rushed (since the first time javi was with me) . Of course. What else would you expect me to do?
But I SHOULD be done now! I finally got myself a storage container for all the stuff (thanks to Javi who bought it for me) and it's stored neatly in our closet... Right above all my clothes for me to admire until the next holiday that I can pull it out and begin using the awesome pink and red items :p
Speaking of other holidays, I have already begun *cough cough and almost finished cough cough* my St Patrick's Day gifts for everyone. Now, I've never celebrated this holiday past wearing something green, and sometimes I don't even do that. BUT this year I'm changing things up a bit. I'm hoping to make something small for everyone each holiday. For Valentines Day I did something weird, I decorated some tin cans and placed candy that each individual liked inside (I'll put a picture at the end of this post). It sounded good at the time, and they came out interesting. But looking back now I wish I had done something else. It's ok though, there is always next year.... And you know... All that Valentines Day clearance items...
Anyways, back to St Patrick's day. Everyone's gifts are in the process, and it's just something small that I put together. Hardly even a gift really. But I won't say more, I'll just show you after the day passes!
I've finally decided to get off my lazy butt and begin my running again. Tomorrow is the start of a new month and a new opportunity to start fresh. I will take it.
Oh! And I watched the first Lord of the Rings yesterday! Javi really wants to watch them with me so I'm sitting through it, although I will say that its pretty good. Much different than I thought it would be. Other than the length of course, everyone warned me it was long, but it feels sooooooo much longer than I imagined. Maybe just because we watch them at night... or because Javi makes mistakes and accidently tells me it's almost over, when there's still an hour and a half left. Yeah, probably a mixture of the two :p
Well, that's pretty much it for now!
