By Some Miracle...

By some miracle, I didn't get a ticket today when I 100% should have. I didn't even get pulled over, and I have no idea why not. See, I was driving to work around 8 and I passed a school zone. I'm still not use to the fact that school is in session so I just kept going the normal speed (in between 35-40) when I should have only been going 20. I realized it RIGHT as a cop was passing on the opposite side of the road. I kept looking in my rear view mirror and my side mirror to see when he was going to turn around, but he never did! I was so relieved, I can't even begin to express it. I mentioned in my last post that I don't like to speed, well its because I don't want a ticket (not that anyone really does, but i'm terrified of getting one-don't ask). So thank you to the guardian angel that kept his radar off me!

Not too much else happened today. Just a few little things.
 
*I've been trying to teach Payton to blow me a kiss for awhile now, and today she actually did it back! It was so cute, and I felt like all my time spent trying to teach her was actually worth it! (She screamed a ton again today, and I assume she will be the same way tomorrow. Teething sucks!)

*Jav was so kind to change my blinker light since it has been out for like 2 months now ( cough - I mean, since it just went out today...yeah, today.) While he was fixing it he realized that not only was my blinker out, but 4 other bulbs need to be replaced as well. Thank you again guardian angel for not having a cop drive behind me at night since my brake light was out as well! (I get the feeling this angel really knows how much I don't want to get pulled over cause the odds have really just not been in my favor lately). And thank you Javi for offering to help with my car issues!

* I realized that there are no casinos on Disney cruises...can you say bummed?! Why oh why, Disney, can you not just toss some slot machines on your cruise ships! I get that your theme is kid oriented and all, but toss it in the adult only section! You know, next to the alcohol since that's not kid friendly either *shakes head* Oh well, I'm still excited for the cruise regardless. Especially since I found out they are actually somewhat prepared for vegetarian and vegan cruisers. That eases my mind a bit; the thought of eating only salad and cheese pizza doesn't sound to appealing...

*Javi had his phone interview with a company he really wants to work for and he did outstanding! The lady interviewing him didn't even give him the full interview because she was so impressed! He should be getting a call tomorrow to schedule his next interview. *fingers crossed that the rest of the interviews go just as well - if not better-*

*Javi wanted me to play his game Batman: Arkham Asylum. Sooo I took the controller and braced myself to die almost immedietly. I was really only doing it because he was really interested in me trying the game out, but it turns out I had beginners luck or something! I got much further than he expected me to get! It was pretty interesting, I'll admit. But I doubt I will play again because pressing all those buttons so many times in such a short amount of time killed my hand :p

* I got to talk to my sister finally about the Pretty Little Liars summer finale (she caught up on the show last night). I love talking about that show, I could literally talk about it for hours and still not run out of things to say. If you are reading this and love to talk about it as much as me, feel free to send me a message! I'm always up for a PLL chat!

* and last but not least, Jav made me some guacamole! I'm addicted to that stuff in case you didn't already know. He makes the BEST too. But then today he took the last bite and didn't warn me. I went to dip my chip and there was NOTHING left!!! I couldn't complain though, since he went out of his way to make me it. I'm just thankful he made some for me.

I can't believe today is only Wednesday, It feels more like a Friday. Here is to what will probably be a long rest of the week.
