Finally Updating Again!

Ok, try not to notice the time between this update and the last! I'm sorry it's taken so long. I've had my reasons, and no, its not because I've been lazy (well, not entirely) :p

First of all, I went on that vacation I've been talking about! We left around 4am on Saturday (its a Tannous thing to leave for vacations so early, to us  this is actually a late start), and got to Florida sometime that night. We spent the first 4 days of vacation in the various DisneyWorld parks, and it was an absolute blast. We met some characters, rode most of the rides, and walked like CRAZY. We also ate like queens thanks to a cheap meal plan that NEVER once let us go hungry-even me, and I'm hard to always keep full! I met Belle and Beast (of course!) and had so much fun with them. I actually met Belle 2 different times, and the 2nd time she signed this really cool decorative plate of Belle and the Beast that I had bought :) I can't wait to put it up for display!

Then after that, we took a 3 day Disney cruise to the Bahamas! None of my family had been on a cruise before so that was a treat in itself, much less the adorableness of the Disney theme. Right before you walk into the front door of the ship, they ask you for your last name. Then as you walk into the ship, they welcome you over the speaker system so everyone in the surrounding area can hear! It was ADORABLE and really set the mood for the rest of the cruise.

When we reached the Bahamas we took a tour of Atlantis, played in the casino for a little bit, then swam in the ocean. It was the clearest water we have ever been in, almost like swimming in a pool. Absolutely beautiful. As was Disney's Castaway Cay, same beautiful clear water, but even more enticing because of the fact that its a private island owned by Disney. It's not crowded at all since the only people on the island were the people on the ship with us and that made it so relaxing. We also went snorkeling while we were there, and it was like nothing that I've ever done before. At first there were a few cute fish swimming around us and we were so excited because we could reach out and touch them sometimes. Then as we swam further out, we found the jackpot. There were a TON of fish swimming around in a far corner. There were schools of fish swimming around us, along with tons of other random fish as well. Imagine a stocked aquarium, thats pretty much what we were swimming in. It was amazing. We were swimming out there for about 2 hours straight. By the time we got back to shore, we were worn out, but it was so worth it.

The trip was amazing and it was really really great seeing my sister again. The cruise was especially nice since it was just us with no outside distractions, we hadn't spent time like that in way too long. (mental note-when Alyssa comes back, remember to spend lots of time together just the two of you. Time is going by way to quick and pretty soon, its going to be a luxury that's not experienced enough.)

As great of a time we were having, by the end we needed a vacation from our vacation. We were all so worn out!

Life has gone back to normal pretty much, babysitting and spending time with Javier is all I've really been up to, not that i'm complaining at all! Here is a list of things that's happened since we returned home:

*Javier got his job offer! He officially starts his first "real" job Monday, October 8th! So so so so excited for him!
*Payton turned 1. She's not even my child and even I am all like "Where has the time gone!??" I made her a little video for her birthday, it was cute. And yes, the parents cried when they watched it : )
*Javi and I have officially found the place we are moving too! SO SO SO SO excited to move in, even though the move in date isn't till November. Its great to walk around stores now and talk about what kind of stuff we want to have in the apartment. I love imagining what out life is going to be like in a month. And we are moving in just in time to start thinking about Christmas and how we want to decorate! I've never lived in an apartment during this time so I'm thrilled to decorate for the first time, and I couldn't have asked for a more amazing person to celebrate with :)

So much more stuff has been going on, but It would take forever to write it all out. So i'll just stop there, and from here on out I'll be much better about updating!

Until next time,
Tiffany <3

"Before she knows it, she's a brand new bride
In her one bedroom apartment and her daddy stops by.
He tells her it's a nice place, she says, "It'll do for now"
Starts talking about babies and buyin' a house.
Daddy shakes his head and says, "Baby just slow down"
Cause you're gonna miss this,
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days
Hadn't gone by so fast"
     - Trace Adkins "You're gonna miss this"
(I go back and forth with this song. Sometimes I agree with it, because its really the truth. You almost always miss what you can't get back (at least when its talking about times in your life like this). But while I realize its important to appreciate life the way it is at any given moment, I still don't agree with the whole "stay stuck where you are now while you can" because in my eyes, if you are excited about the future, then why not get there a little earlier than other people might choose to? As long as you have that one person by your side and you both are happy, that's all that truly matters. And trust me. I have that one person, and we both can't wait for our future.)
