Chalk Full of Great News

My day started out on a bad note for more than one reason. (I swear, there is great news in this post!)

I headed out of the house with JUST enough time to get to work right when I needed to be there. But when I walked out to my car, surprise surprise, there was a car parked behind me. No big deal, though. I dropped my bag off in my car, then went inside to get the keys to my brothers car. Went to turn the car on...realized I grabbed the wrong set of keys. (In my defense, my dads keys and my brothers keys look almost identical) No big deal still. I ran back inside and grabbed the right set. I got the car backed out and reversed all the way back till I was in the middle of the cult-de-sac, then...wouldn't you know it...his car stalled on me. Freaking STALLED in the MIDDLE of the street!! I sat there like a crazy person trying to start the car back up before a car came by needing to get through. After what felt like 10 minutes (but im sure was more like 3-4) I finally got the car to turn back on and moved it back near our house. I had to speed to get to work on time. I really really dislike speeding.

Then the next bad start had to do with Payton. She is teething like crazy lately, poor thing. Today it was hurting her so bad that she cried for about an hour straight and I didn't know what to do. When I say cry, I mean she screamed hysterically and hit my hand everytime I tried to pick her up. Annoying to say the least, but shes teething, its understandable. I would have given her medicine to help her through it, but she had already had some before I got there and the 4 hours needed in between dosage hadn't passed yet. Pretty much she cried (screamed) till she wore herself out and fell asleep. Then did it again after her nap, just not as bad.

BUT....my day did a huge 180.

My sister called me to tell me that on top of our trip to DisneyWorld, we were going on a cruise. Not just any cruise though, one to the BAHAMAS. I've been wanting to go there for years, literally. And going would not bring the cost up at all, its still under my allowed budget :) I'm ecstatic to say the least!

Then, Javi came over ( always a great thing in its own - love you hun!) and gave me my new luggage! Its as nice in person as it is online! I'm so lucky to have him, he went through so much to get me the right set. Apparently when I called to put them on hold yesterday, the lady picked out the wrong design. Similar, but not the ones I wanted. He still payed when he got to the counter though cause he wasn't 100% sure, then went to his car and called me to let me know. After sending him a picture of the ones I wanted, it was confirmed that they pulled the wrong ones. Javi went back inside and had them grab the right ones, and they gave him hell for it. Saying all sorts of rude stuff and the poor thing just had to stand up for himself, and ultimately me. All so that I could have what I wanted. This is the guy that hates asking for help in stores so it may not seem like much but what he went through was a huge act of love! So not only did I get the right luggage, but in the process it was a reminder that he cares about me (and pays attention when I tell him things!)

THEN the summer finale of Pretty Little Liars was on, and it was amazing. One of the best episodes in a long time! I had been waiting all day for it and it very much so fulfilled everything I hoped it would be.

Update: On top of that, MasterChef was on and we watched the top 4 turn into the top 3. Unfortunately the wrong person went home, at least according to Jav and I. But it was still fun to watch, we have been watching all season and its kinda sad that its almost over! (OnePotato, TwoPotato! Haha )

Oh, and I had some pizza rolls :p Love those things!

So yeah, the day started out bad, but ended up amazing. I'd without a doubt relive today; stalled car, screaming baby and all.

Until next time,
Tiffany <3

"Freaked out, dropped my phone in the pool again,
Checked out of my room, hit the ATM
Let's hang out if you're down to get down tonight
'cause its always a good time
Good morning and good night,
I wake up at twilight
It's gonna be alright"

^Listened to this song quite a few times today, it was stuck in my head. It still is even as I get ready for sleep :p
